IT Bath Bombs Recipe

Bath Bombs are popular nowadays. Sometimes they are called Bath Fizzer, as well.

Whether you are a movie enthusiast or not, the IT Bath Bombs are sure to be a good addition to your collection. A great must-try bath bomb as well.

It was indeed fun using them. Being immersed in that warm, pinkish bath. Relaxing into it… Oh! don’t worry, you will not become reddish or pinkish in color. LOL!

But, surely you will feel relaxed with healthy, glowing skin afterwards. That’s the effect of Epsom salt and the essential oils in the bath bomb.

IT Bath Bombs Recipe

Supplies

Tools

  • 7-10 small or medium bath bomb molds

Instructions

To begin with, whisk together the baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, and Epsom salts.

Making the Bath fizzers

In a second bowl, combine the melted coconut oil, essential oil blend, and alcohol together, and then mix well.

Then add liquid ingredients 1 tsp at a time to the dry ingredients, mixing them together slowly so as not to start the fizzy reaction.

Separate about ⅓ of the bath bomb mixture into a second small bowl. To this smaller bowl of bath bomb mixture, add in the yellow mica powder and mix well.

Making the Bath Bomb

If you want more color, then add some additional mica powder in 1 tsp increments.

To the larger bowl of bath bomb mixture, add in the red mica powder and mix well. If you want more color, you can add some additional mica powder in 1 tsp increments.

Dust the bottom of one side of one of the bath bomb molds with cornstarch. The sprinkle side tends to come out on its own, so do not bother to dust that side with cornstarch.

Then place about 1 tsp of sprinkles in the non-dusted side of the bath bomb mold.

Making the Bath Bomb

Immediately pack the bath bomb mold with the sprinkles overly full of the red mixture. You want there to be an excess mixture to help bond the two sides of the mold together.

To the cornstarch dusted half of the bath bomb mold, fill it about 1/3 full of yellow bath bomb mixture, then finish filling it with the red mixture, overfilling as with the other half of the bath bomb.

Then press the two sides of the bath bomb mold together, grinding and pressing them to force the two together.

Allow the bath bombs to rest in the mold for up to 24 hours before gently tapping the side of the mold to release the bombs.
