The Christmas Season is always special. And a lot of special bread is being baked, as well. Just like these sweet-smelling Christmas Tree Cinnamon Rolls!
I always love the smell and taste of cinnamon. From cakes, pastries, bread, and even my old-fashioned homemade hot cocoa. It’s so very soothing.
This coming Christmas Season, These Christmas Tree Cinnamon Rolls are going to be my star-of-the-season bread. Why not? It’s a Christmas Tree!.
Kids will surely enjoy layering the sprinkles over the bread. Well, at least I know my kids do.
Oh, and I love it with my Old-Fashioned Hot Cocoa! Did I say that already? Actually I’d like to make these Gingerbread House Hot Cocoa Bombs next for these pastries. That will be awesome!
Making the Christmas Tree Cinnamon Rolls
What makes these so easy to make is, you’ll have to prepare 4 ingredients only! Because we are going to use a ready Cinnamon roll dough.. All we have to do is to make the shape.
These 4 ingredients are 1 can Cinnamon Rolls with Icing, Green Sparkling Sugar Sprinkles, Non-Pareils Sprinkles, and the Star Sprinkles. I used the stars from this assorted set (paid link).
To begin with, preheat your oven to the temperature required on the can of cinnamon rolls and then line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Open the can of cinnamon rolls and remove all of the cinnamon rolls and icing from the can.
Then unroll a cinnamon roll and, starting from the bottom and working in smaller and smaller sections, re-shape the cinnamon roll into a 3-4 tiered zig-zag, gently pressing the lengths of each zig and zag together.
Unroll a second cinnamon roll, gently press one end to the loose end of the last tier of the zig-zag and begin zigging and zagging again in smaller sections until you reach a tip.
Repeat cutting cinnamon rolls and reshaping them until all of the cinnamon rolls have been used.
Then bake per the directions on the can of cinnamon rolls.
Remove from the oven.
Then drizzle with the icing and sprinkle with the green sugar sprinkles, nonpareils sprinkles.
Finally, top the tip with a star sprinkle then serve!
