These Farm Truck Mason Jars with red, white, and blue are making their way for the coming holiday. The excitement is always in the air when the 4th of July is approaching. Yesirrie!
Mason jars are one of my favorite craft materials. You may have noticed a few other mason jar crafts on my blog site. Mason jars are quite versatile, and they have many uses. They’re good for everything from those good ol’ jars for spread, sauces, and pickles, to becoming a decoration.
I was thinking about making something useful for the 4th of July. And, of course, they are themed for the great holiday.
Because there will be some partying for the celebration, I thought of those mason jars holding the cutleries and straws. Dressing the jars for the July 4th, these Farm Truck Mason Jars are just perfect.
You could have these Firecracker Jello Cups in your celebration, too.
Making the July 4th Farm Truck Mason Jars
This craft is simple, easy, and fun to make with materials that are easy to find. I found the napkins on Etsy. I really like these designs.
The only supplies you’ll need are:
- 4th of July napkins
- Mason jars–at least three
- Mod podge or other craft sealant
- Paintbrush
- Decoupage roller (optional)
Here’s how to put together your July 4th Farm Truck Mason Jars:
- Separate the napkin layers and trim the images at the seam line.
2. Using the paintbrush, cover the mason jar with a thin layer of Mod Podge.
3. Immediately place the napkin face-up on the surface of the mason jar. Take care to place it exactly where you want it to be, because you cannot adjust it after it’s placed.
4. Add another layer of Mod Podge over the top of the napkin layer. If using a roller, apply the roller gently to work out any bubbles.
5. Allow the Mod Podge to dry completely and enjoy!
Don’t forget to Pin this craft into your Mason Jars Craft Pinterest Board to make it easier for you to retrieve it later.
