I said it before and I’ll say it again. If I’d like to relax, getting a warm fizzy bath is one of my things. Whenever I felt this bubbling and fizzing effect on my skin, it always has this relaxing and soothing effect. One of those DIY bath bombs I usually use is this Pink Bubblegum Bombs.
Actually, my kids love these Pink Bubblegum Bombs, too. Just like any other Bath Bombs, they love how the water in their tub fizzes and bubbles up and turns into nice colors. And then the nice bubblegum scent will fill their nostrils. I love it when my kids are really enjoying their bath.
I just can’t get enough of the DIY Bath Bombs that I always make for myself and my kids. Not only that they are really great for my skin, but they are so budget-friendly, too.
You can customize them anytime as well, so you can put any color and scents you like. It’s just wonderful, isn’t it?
How to Make Pink Bubblegum Bombs
Just like the sweet Marshmallow Bath Bombs and the golden Unicorn Horn Bath Bombs that I made last year (and more on the years before that), certainly this Pink Bubblegum Bombs are equally easy to make.
If you are ready, let’s go ahead and make these sweet-scented Pink Bubblegum Bombs.
Have these supplies ready:
- 2 cups baking soda
- 1 cup citric acid (It’s better to buy in bulk) (paid links)
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons Chamomile Epsom salts
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1-2 teaspoons bubblegum scented oil
- 1 teaspoon polysorbate 80
- 1-2 tablespoons of pink mica colorant
- 1-2 teaspoons of pink cosmetic glitter
- 1 tablespoon edible pink sugar pearls
- Stainless steel bath bomb molds
- Spray bottle filled with rubbing alcohol
- 1 large mixing bowl
Here are the Step-by-Step Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, add the baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salts, and cornstarch. Whisk dry ingredients together.
2. Add the coconut oil. This binds all the ingredients together, so your bath bombs don’t crumble when you touch them!
3. Add polysorbate 80. This helps the coconut oil disperse more evenly in your bath water, makes the bath bombs bubbly, and prevents the mica from sticking to the side of the tub.
4. Add the bubblegum scented oil. Mix well. You may need to use your hands to break down any lumps and make sure everything is mixed in. The mixture is perfect when it holds together when you press it into your hands and feels like wet sand.
5. Mix in 1-2 tablespoon of the pink powdered mica colorant and pink glitter.
6. Sprinkle a bit of the pink pearls into one side of the bath bomb molds. Add the mixture on top until the mixture is slightly overflowing. Fill the other side with the bath bombs mixture until slightly overflowing. Press molds together and grind gently to remove the excess mixture. Gently tap each side of the mold to release the bombs. Allow to dry a minimum of 24 hours.
See how easy this is? I hope you enjoyed another DIY bath bombs. The Pink Bubblegum Bombs. Don’t forget to Pin this DIY to be able to get back to this recipe again.
