Ham Salad is popular for using leftover ham. But a lot of people enjoy this and just buy the ham. Either way, it’s a great cheap ham recipe!
You can say a lot of good things about this Ham Salad. Easy to make, budget saver, ingredients are readily available, convenient, customizable, and more. This cubed ham salad can also be used as a spread or as a dip, too.
There are also different ways of how to make it. Such as using a food processor or manually cutting and mixing the salad. Some like it really fine, while others like it chunky. I don’t really care – I just want it all.

Moreover, ingredients are different from every version. Some like it saltier or sweeter, or spicier. Some like it with their favorite herbs and spices, vegetables, fruits, and condiments.
What I am sharing here is the basic and the family favorite. (Although sometimes I add a little bit of this and a little bit of that. LOL!) I always have the ingredients in my kitchen. My kids love cold ham for their ham sandwich or just as it is.
That’s why I also make this Ham Salad. Then keep it in a big jar and refrigerate. I am really glad that we all have the same taste for this. Most of the time I serve it with bread or make a sandwich with this Ham Salad as the spread.
For my sandwich, I love it with lettuce and cucumber slices (that CRUNCH!). Such a delicious and easy lunch or a wrapped-up sandwich for an on-the-go-meal later on in the day if I’m road-tripping.
