What You Need to Make Keto Kit Kat Bars
Just like I said a while ago, making these bars are so simple. Gather your ingredients first:
(paid links)
- ¾ cup of. Almond flour
- ½ teaspoon of Baking powder
- 2 tablespoons of Butter (salted or unsalted will do. I prefer unsalted though)
- 1 oz. Cream cheese
- 3 tablespoons of Swerve confectioners sugar (or you may use your preferred carb-free sweetener, adjust the measurement)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup sugar-free baking chips
- 1 tablespoon of Coconut oil
Once your ingredients are ready, preheat your oven to 350°F.
Combine the almond flour, melted butter, baking powder, cream cheese, sweetener, and vanilla extract in a medium-size mixing bowl. Blend until thoroughly mixed.
Then press the dough into a silicone candy bar mold (paid link), filling about 5 sections to the top.
Bake the candy bar mixture for about 8-10 minutes until browned and cooked through.
Let the mixture cool completely, and then gently cut each of the candy bar pieces in half lengthwise to get the long, thin shape of a Kit Kat Bar.
Then place the cut cookie bars under the broiler for a minute or two on each side to crisp them up and make them crunchy.
Once the cookie strips are out of the broiler allow them to set in the freezer for about an hour.
In a small microwaveable bowl, mix together the coconut oil and baking chips, and then microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each 30-second interval, until chips are melted and smooth.
Dip the cookie sections into the chocolate mixture, and then remove with a fork to allow excess chocolate to drip off. Place them onto a tray or plate lined with parchment paper.
Once all are dipped, place the kit kat bars into the freezer and allow them to set for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
By the way, don’t forget to Pin these Keto Kit Kat Bars to your favorite Keto recipes Pinterest Board. That way, you can find the recipe again when you’re ready for another round of yum!
