I always like cupcakes. Besides being so delicious and being made with different flavors and textures, they can be designed to go for themed parties and celebrations. Or just to enjoy and relax while having these cupcakes. This Halloween Vampire Bite Cupcakes recipe is another one to enjoy.
After the excitement of trick or treating, it’s nice to enjoy these Halloween Vampire Bite Cupcakes at home while talking with your kids about what Halloween treats they snagged!
If you are going to host a Halloween party and celebrate the holiday at home or in another venue, these cupcakes are just perfect as a dessert, too. I think they can be partnered perfectly with these Vampire Teeth Cupcakes, as well.
Making the Halloween Vampire Bite Cupcakes
As the base of the cupcakes, using a box of Chocolate Cake Mix can make everything easier than making it all from the scratch. And then, combining it with Chocolate Pudding mix and some brewed coffee will make a huge difference.
However, you can use your own cupcake recipe as the base if you prefer, of course.
Furthermore, this sweet flavorful icing will really set off the flavor of the cupcakes. Don’t worry, designing the Halloween Vampire Bite Cupcakes is simple. Nothing about this is complicated.

For the Instructions to make these Halloween Vampire Bite Cupcakes
For the Cake
To begin with, preheat oven to 3500 F. Line 2, 12 count muffin tins with paper liners, set aside.
Combine cake mix and chocolate pudding mix. Then add in cooled coffee, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until you see no lumps.
Fill muffin tins halfway. Bake for 19-23 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cupcake comes out clean.
While those cool, prepare the icing.
For the Icing
In a medium bowl or stand mixer bowl, place two sticks of butter and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
Then slowly add in powdered sugar. If too dry, add milk one teaspoon at a time.
In a pastry bag fitted with tip #12, place the prepared icing.
Starting on the outside working in, in a circular motion, pipe a mountain of icing.
Then take a toothpick and make two small holes side by side to look like bites.
Then take the red piping gel and fill the hole and drizzle down from small holes to look like a vampire bite.
