Ok. So, I have a tendency to be a little…hmmm…sarcastic? Is that the word? I don’t know. I hear that sarcastic people are more intelligent. Probably not me, then, but I’ll run with it–see how far it gets me. Heh. Aaaand, with that, my sarcasm is flowing. And flowing…because, my friends, I was inspired by my new friend Scotch-Brite® Disposable Toilet Scrubber to make some Funny {but true} DIY Bathroom Art–because life is too short to be angry that the toilet is a mess. Heh.
See, this all started when my son broke our old-fashioned (read: icky) toilet brush. It’s perhaps the dirtiest object in our house (yuckier even than the toilet), due to it’s relatively frequent use by, well, me, in, well, a yucky place (the toilet). Regardless, it was broken.
But, the trick here? Not broken by me. Someone else was attempting something that *gasp* hadn’t been done by them ever: Cleaning the bathroom. And, thus, my sarcasm began to rear it’s ugly, nasty head. Heh.
While hunting for a new toilet-clean-scrubby-majigger at Kroger, I came across this fancy (read: AWESOME) Scotch-Brite Disposable Toilet Scrubber and handy Scotch-Brite® Disposable Toilet Scrubber Refills. So much better than my old broken-down thing…
This new Scotch-Brite Disposable Toilet Scrubber scrubs the messes you’ve been leaving behind. Yes. Yes it does. And then, I am not leaving behind a nasty brush, either. I can just discard the head and VIOLA! And it’s totally shaped to get those gnarly stains under the rim–and has a built-in bleach alternative cleaner with pumice scrubs.
And it cleans better than the brush I had before. So, I was inspired. Inspired to remind people what I REALLY want them to do in the bathroom instead of break my new Scotch-Brite Disposable Toilet Scrubber (that I’m now in love with–so STAY AWAY!)…First, I want them to read these Funny {but true} DIY Bathroom Art pieces. Do I have a chance? Probably not.
