This Simple and Easy Elf-On-The-Shelf Christmas Parfait is so delicious! I got the idea from a dessert my mom used to make. She called her dessert a “million dollar pie”. I have taken that recipe, modified it just a bit, and created this beautiful, delicious Christmas Parfait. This parfait will dress up your holiday table, regardless of the season!

You aren’t going to believe how few ingredients you’ll need for your beautiful, delicious Elf-On-The-Shelf Christmas Parfait! You probably already have a lot of these in your pantry. This is all it takes to make 4 of these 12-ounce parfaits:

How to Put Together This Elf-On-The-Shelf Christmas Parfait

There are two parts to this wonderful dessert: the filling, and the whipped topping.

TO MAKE THE FILLING:

  • Take the cream cheese out of the refrigerator, and let it come to room temperature. That will make it easier to whip to a smooth consistency . . . you’ll want it to be smooth after you whip it.
  • Whip the cream cheese and add the lemon jello.
  • Add powdered sugar to taste.
  • Mix in green food coloring to desired shade.
  • Add the fruit and pecans.
  • Refrigerate.

TO MAKE THE TOPPING:

  • Pour the whipping cream into a large mixing bowl and beat on medium speed.
  • Add vanilla and red food coloring, then beat.
  • Add powdered sugar, gently stir in, then beat on high until the cream holds its shape. If the cream does not get stiff enough, sprinkle xanthan gum on top, and beat until it holds a stiff peak.

ASSEMBLE:

  • Put a couple spoonfuls of the filling in the bottom of each cup.
  • Add a couple spoonfuls of the topping in each cup.
  • Repeat the layering, alternating the filling and the topping in each cup.
  • Add Christmas Sprinkles.
  • Sprinkle with sugar crystals.

    Take the cream cheese out of the refrigerator, and let it come to room temperature. That will make it easier to whip to a smooth consistency . . . you’ll want it to be smooth after you whip it.

    Open the can of pineapple (or fruit of your choice) and drain off juice.

    Place the cream cheese in a large mixing bowl.

    Using a hand mixer, beat on medium speed until it is smooth.

    Add the lemon Jello (dry), and beat into the cream cheese.

    Add powdered sugar, to taste.

    Add green food coloring and mix until color is consistent throughout.

    Add the fruit and pecan, then stir with a spoon to combine.

    Cover and refrigerate.

    WHIPPED TOPPING

    Pour the whipping cream (or dairy free whipping cream) into a large bowl.

    Beat on medium speed for about 1 minute.

    Add vanilla extract and mix well.

    Add the powdered sugar, and stir to combine.

    Beat on high until the cream is stiff.

    If the cream does not get stiff enough, sprinkle xanthan gum on top, and beat on high speed until it holds a stiff peak.

    ASSEMBLY

    Put a couple spoonfuls of the filling in the bottom of each cup.


    Add a couple spoonfuls of the whipped topping in each cup.


    Repeat the layering, alternating the filling and the whipped topping in each cup.


    Add Christmas Sprinkles.


    Sprinkle with sugar crystals.

    Add cupcake toppers.
