With the recent solar eclipse I just couldn’t stop thinking about how do we know it’s the moon. I mean it really could be the death star right? Then I was hungry so it came to me like an epiphany you know Death Star Pizza. This is grand! Tasty Death Star pizza that could satisfy any rebel’s craving to destroy the Death Star.
It doesn’t take much to make one. Comes with a few spicy slices for the adults. Pepperoni makes it look like the Death Star along with plenty of yummy cheesy goodness. Extra cheese is definitely a must when it comes to pizza. We used a pizza cutter to make the squares out of pepperoni. Used a peperoncini to make the circle and line.
Talk about galactic! Put the p in pizza with this Death Star. Think just how cool of a mom you would be if you served this up at a birthday or team gathering. Perfect for everyone and if you need to go dairy free just get some dairy free cheese in place of the mozzarella.
As we pulled it out of the oven we couldn’t help but sing the theme song. You know the one! We used a thin pizza crust as we thought it would look the best trying to replicate the Death Star. However, you can use any crust you would like. And I know this is Star Wars but hello it’s kind of better than eating pizza the hutt. Or maybe not just depends on how much you love pizza 🙂
We loved this dinner and it’s pretty simple to even make on a weeknight for the kids at home. Another great way to serve this up would be for movie night or the upcoming premiere party! You know the next addition the Last Jedi is coming soon!
