Candy Cane Dangle Ornament

There are always those excitements when the Christmas season is coming. People are busy with many plans. Plans of visiting relatives, what surprises to put up for the kids, gifts to give, delightful foods, and of course, decorations.

It’s always fun when the whole family is doing the decorations. And it seems you don’t get tired, putting them up or making them all by yourself. Making your own decorations is such an enjoyable event. Especially when doing something you can do with your whole family. Kids are always more excited.

This Candy Cane Dangle Ornament is a perfect craft that the whole family can make. It’s so easy! You know, the feel of holding these white foam snow pebbles can make everyone giggle. Just be careful not to put them in the mouth. So if there are kids, supervision is very much needed.

For the ornament, you can also choose between glass balls or clear plastic balls. Both will look awesome. But with small kids, it is advised to work with the plastic ones.

To have more fun, making treats for everyone after finishing up the candy cane dangle ornaments is going to be wonderful. Like the Snowflake Macaron Cookies and pair with Gingerbread House Hot Cocoa Bombs. It’s going to be like a sneak preview of what’s to come for Christmas.

Making these Easy Candy Cane Dangle Ornaments

Before starting the candy cane dangling ornament, prepare some snacks first. For inspiration, of course! LOL! Let them know that they can have the snacks after making the ornaments.

Now… if you have no idea where to get the materials you need, I put a link where I got them.

To start with, have the materials ready. These are:

Carefully remove the cap from each ornament. Attach the candy cane ornament to the underside of the clear ornament cap.

Using the funnel, fill the clear ball ornament about ⅓ full with snow pebbles.

And then carefully squeeze the candy cane ornament through the opening of the clear ornament and replace the cap.

So easy and done in just a couple of minutes!

If you have kids and they also want to have fun helping out, see first which task is easiest for them to do. Then let them have that ‘responsibility.’
