Thank you so much to Dunkin’ Donuts for sponsoring this post–I enjoyed working with you and would love to again. All opinions expressed herein are 100% mine.
So, I hit up my local Dunkin’ Donuts this afternoon around lunchtime, because I DESPERATELY needed coffee, but was running errands with the kids in the car and there was no way I could run inside somewhere for my cup-o-joe. That’s when I realized that Dunkin’ Donuts serves their breakfast all day long…and I knew, even though I didn’t have time to eat it in the car, I could get one of their GranDDe Burritos that they JUST started serving today…take it home and have some 5-Minute Salsa Fresca and my Dunkin’ Donuts GranDDe Burrito. Like having cake and eating it, too, but only better because it’s a burrito.
Because, you know, having salsa fresca is great, but you have to start with a Dunkin’ Donuts GranDDe Burrito in all it’s awesome 10-ounce breakfast glory, made up of a spicy jalapeno-laced omelet, red bell peppers and pepper jack cheese with habanero, with a healthy heaping of a rice and bean blend that also contains corn, fire-roasted peppers and onions. You can get it in either sausage and veggie versions–I went with sausage, though I bought the veggie one for my husband…Since the GranDDe Burrito is available for a limited time any time of day (at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants) starting February 29, I think we might be stopping-in there for breakfast at lunch or maybe even dinner more often…
As soon as I got my burrito and finished what I was doing, sure enough, the babies were ready to head home (thank goodness!), so I enjoyed my coffee on the drive, then skidded to a stop in the drive. The GranDDe Burrito smelled so good, I couldn’t wait. My hubby will have to enjoy his tonight alone–I already ate mine. Heh.
