When I first tried this easy white hot cocoa, my aunt handed me a big mug and I just fell in love – and had to know exactly how she made it. Writing the recipe on the back of a napkin, I took it home in my pocket, so excited to make it my own.
Ever since, whenever the day turns a little chilly, I crave peppermint tones overlaid on hot chocolate. I’ll spend all day reveling in the sweet smell coming from my crockpot.
My crockpot will stand ready for me and whoever else might be at home, waiting for them to indulge.
Well, most of the time it’s my kids who beg for a mug of this White Peppermint Hot Chocolate, too. They love a mug with some cookies, but that’s another story. LOL!
I find it so fun for the kids when I garnish their hot cocoa with a candy cane, mini marshmallows, and drizzle with chocolate. And they love this little ritual we’ve created.
Me, I like it with a little whipped cream on top, but whether you like it with garnishes or just plain, this recipe is ready for you to enjoy it.
