I love how easy it is to make unique and fun treats to make my chilly evenings a little more cozy. Hot cocoa bombs rock and has become one of my favorite drinks especially when the weather is cold.
Hot cocoa bombs allow us to create themes and designs, with different flavors. It’s wonderful when we can easily make these at home. Because we can make them with our favorite things in it, too.

What You Need to Make Unicorn Horn Hot Cocoa Bombs
- 2 cups White Candy Melts
- 2 cups White Hot Chocolate Mix
- 12 Rainbow Marshmallows
- ¼ cup Mixed Sprinkles
- ¼ cup Unicorn Horn Sprinkles
You will also need this unicorn mold, a paintbrush, and some water to set the sprinkles
How to Make Unicorn Hot Cocoa Bombs
To begin with, place white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and melt in the microwave per the directions on the package.
Then position a single unicorn horn sprinkle in the horn of each mold.
Place 1 tbsp melted candy melt into one cavity of the bomb mold and, using the bottom of your tablespoon measuring spoon, press the chocolate up the sides of the mold, keeping it thick but even. Repeat with 6 bomb mold halves.
Then place the chocolate-filled bomb molds into the freezer for 5 minutes.
Remove molds from the freezer, and then gently pull the mold away from the chocolate unicorns.
How to assemble Unicorn Hot Cocoa Bombs
Fill the molds with about ½ tbsp melted candy melt and spread this over the entire face shape of the unicorn. This will be the bottom cap of your unicorn bombs.
Then place the chocolate-filled bomb molds into the freezer for 5 minutes.
Remove molds from the freezer and gently pull the mold away from the cap for the unicorns.
Fill the chocolate unicorns with 1 tbsp hot chocolate mix, a few unicorn sprinkles, and 2 rainbow marshmallows.
Pipe a little of the melted candy melts along the edge of each unicorn shape.
then immediately press a unicorn cap to the top of one of the filled cups. This will close the hot cocoa bomb.
To get them to set, place the hot cocoa bombs into the freezer for 5 minutes then remove them.
Paint the mane area with a thin coat of water then immediately cover in the dot sprinkles.
Allow the water to dry then store in an airtight container until you’re ready to use.
How to use hot cocoa bombs:
Place one of the bombs in a mug and pour 2 cups of hot milk over the top. Stir until the unicorn hot cocoa bombs are completely melted and enjoy!
