Margarita Popcorn

Thank you for sharing!

It’s that summer season when everything is tacos, cerveza, and snacking by the pool. You have those pictures of the beer in the sand, the cute flamingo beach towel, and some kind of wonder snack to throw in your mouth next to you on that little table. This Margarita Popcorn is exactly what you need next to you. I love to top this with margarita salt or an extra kick but that’s up to you.

I like how this can easily be made in advance. Just place it into a tin or paper sacks to bring along with you to the beach or the lake. Fun for poolside adult snacks. This Margarita popcorn has tequila in it. It can easily be removed from the recipe to serve to kids if you would like.

I used green americolor food coloring in order to achieve that vibrant color to the popcorn in which is so reminiscent to the way we think of traditional margarita’s. This is also a fun recipe to have on the table at cinco de mayo or any fun outdoor party or fiesta. Really wow your guests with this one. One of my other favorite popcorn’s to make is a chili cheese popcorn.

Margarita Popcorn

We used to have this old wooden store front in town with a shoe tailor and a popcorn shop. They had all kinds of popcorn from pina colda to chili cheese popcorn. I used to love going there for the chili cheese popcorn. At Christmas I would walk out with a huge tin of it. Such a fond memory for me.
