The weather is suddenly nice again. All sorts of not-t00-hot-to-be-outside-in-Texas anymore. Which is like the day that all moms in this, the armpit of summer-heat, breathe a huge sigh of relief. So, I decided to make some Glitter Finger Paint and, while were were having a good time, suddenly, we were Painting in the Rain. And, somedays, it’s just like that. Heh.
When I made the Glitter Finger Paint, I had fully intended on having the girls be messy and have fun outside with the paint. I mean, I love a good finger painting inside, and all–I mean, what mom doesn’t want their house covered in bright pink, blue and purple?! But, because the weather was so nice (at first), I thought: Why not take it outside?! LOL!
So, when our little Glitter Finger Paint adventure turned into painting-in-the rain, I was so glad that we had a whole new container of all® free clear liquid detergent and free clear mighty pacs® at the ready for cleaning the girls’ clothes. Seriously–the rain, the sand, the food coloring and sweat just combined to make one set of laundry that really needed doing. Heh.
We follow the directions for use on the packaging exactly, using all® free clear liquid detergent, the #1 detergent recommended by Dermatologists, Allergists, and Pediatricians for Sensitive Skin, to help reduce allergens AND fight tough stains. Since my youngest has pretty bad eczema, both my daughters have allergies–as do their dad and me, too; we need the #1 Sensitive Skin Brand on our side.
I picked our big-‘ole bottle of all® free clear liquid detergent at Target while doing my regular shopping there for the week. Heh.
