I have been remiss in sharing something with you that I should have shared so long ago. Seriously, I should be slapped for being such a bad blogger-friend to you. I have shared all types of cakes and cookies and never once have I shared my family’s Simple Frosting Recipe. I know I don’t use it much, because I try to keep my baked goods vegan for my girls, but, I do occasionally make this still (for my son) and, let me tell you, it’s bury-your-face-in-the-bowl good.
So, here’s the deal, feel free to go ahead and slap me. Seriously, do it. I mean, it’s going to be hard because I’m a slap-dodger. Not really. Don’t try to hit me. There’ll be problems if you do. Court and police. It’ll just be a huge scandal. Instead, maybe you should just make some of this Frosting and watch Scandal. That sounds like so much more fun.
Maybe, now that I’ve shared my Simple Frosting Recipe with you guys, you’d want to sit and watch Scandal with me? Instead of slapping me? I’ll make tiny cupcakes. We can totally have those instead of popcorn. And, since we all know that cupcakes are just convenient excuses to eat icing, we can be happy in the knowledge that we’ll be consuming the most amount of frosting per cupcake that is obtainable. Smiles all around, neh?
Fantastic, so our plans are made. That’s great. Just go ahead, pin this Simple Frosting Recipe. You know you’re going to need it at some point. Whether its for a cake or just a bowl of frosting to bury your face into, you’re going to need it. So pin it. And save yourself the trouble of looking for it later.
