If you’ve been around my blog for long, you’ll know that we post a lot of gluten free recipes. Like, a lot of them.
See, because of various health issues and allergies, most of what my family eats has to be gluten free. But I LOVE food. Especially the super tasty kinds. Because what’s the point of eating if it’s not super delicious?
You know, besides, well, survival.
Whatev. Anyways. I. Love. Deliciousness. And I need gluten free deliciousness on the regular.
So what do I do when we leave the house?
Because I live in Texas, y’all, and there’s nothing five minutes from me. When I’m out running errands, I’m out for at least an hour or two, and this mamma is going to need a snack!
Thankfully I’m an expert at finding delicious gluten free treats on the go!
Finding Delicious Gluten Free Treats On the Go
Okay, you might think that it’s impossible to find anything gluten free while you’re out and about, let alone to find something that’s actually tasty enough to eat.
But I pinky swear, it’s possible!
My girls could even find a sweet treat that they liked while we were out running our errands. And trust me, Jelly and Donut are quite the little food critics!
Red Mango Fall Treats: Gluten Free!
We stopped into the Red Mango to try their new Fall flavors, Banana Chai, Roasted Peanut Butter, and Pumpkin Spice!
(Yeah, gluten free pumpkin spice. You heard that right. Errrr, read?)
I. Was. Amazed.
I absolutely loved my Pumpkin Spice smoothie! It had tons of protein so it kept me full for a day full of errands, and what’s better on a fall day than pumpkin spice?
The fall smoothies from Red Mango have definitely become my go-to gluten free treat on the go!
If you don’t have to be gluten-free, you have no idea how hard it is to find yummy gluten-free options on the go. I’m so excited to have found a place in Dallas that makes getting healthy snacks so easy!
My smoothie was super smooth and delicious. It was even better than one I’d make myself (and I make a pretty mean smoothie)!
