So What if My Mom Thinks I’m Crazy – I’m Going Natural

Thank you for sharing!

This is so interesting--this woman's journey to go natural seems so simple and easy! I might be able to do this.

Look. When I was a kid, there was no such thing as “going natural” and basically, every product available was packed to the gills with chemicals. This made my journey to going natural kind of complicated because I just didn’t know what to choose or why it was important–until I got pregnant. Friends, this is my journey to going natural and, I’ll be honest, So What if My Mom Thinks I’m Crazy – I’m Going Natural. This is so interesting--this woman's journey to go natural seems so simple and easy! I might be able to do this.

So What if My Mom Thinks I’m Crazy – I’m Going Natural

Honestly, my mom only thinks I’m crazy because, now, I talk to everyone about being more healthy simply by using high-quality, natural products to keep my body running smoothly. But, it all started with being pregnant. I was super-sick when I first got pregnant. I had some issues related to a immunological disorder, but beyond that, I was just flat out of shape and eating junk food just wasn’t cutting it. So, I knew I had to make a change. I mean, seriously, when you get sick from eating your favorite food or sipping your favorite drink…you rethink what you’re eating and drinking. So, instead of a soda, I started having water. Instead of a burger from the fast food joint, I started packing my lunch with veggie wraps. Simple steps that made a huge difference–I wasn’t sick as often and my body just felt better. This is so interesting--this woman's journey to go natural seems so simple and easy! I might be able to do this. And, after I saw the differences based on just eating and drinking naturally, I decided to try some more natural-living products…I started with the deoderant, since I was pregnant and I’d heard that some of the chemicals in deoderant might be bad. I thought the natural deoderants wouldn’t work as well, but I was wrong. Tom’s of Maine deoderants works amazingly well–I’ve even convinced my husband to make the switch to North Woods…heh. My favorite part about taking this journey to living more naturally is that I’m setting a good example for my kids. My teen son is using the Wicked Cool ™ Deodorant for boys and the Luminous White™ Toothpaste. Because that’s what he’s choosing at Target, because mom is choosing Tom’s of Maine. That’s a good feeling, knowing he’s making healthier choices simply because he sees me making them. So, at the end of the day, So What if My Mom Thinks I’m Crazy – I’m Going Natural–because it’s best for me and my family. A big part of my plan for going natural, as you can probably tell, is using Tom’s of Maine products. Seriously, Tom’s makes it easy to go natural by having all sorts of items you need every day…Some of our favorite products are from the Made to Matter collection and include:

Luminous White™ Toothpaste their most advanced natural toothpaste that is safe for enamel and is gluten and paraben free–and keeps my smile white and pretty, without harsh chemicals (sweet!).
  • Thumb avatar10566cbeaa131588e81569cfeb8cf6c0
Wicked Cool™ Deodorant for boys, their first natural deodorants made just for boys and girls that provide 24-hour odor protection and free of aluminum, parabens, and artificial fragrances. Because, why would I douse my teen son in chemicals? Doesn’t seem like a good idea to me…

North Woods ™ Tom’s of Main first natural antiperspirant made for men that provides all day odor and wetness protection without petrochemicals, artificial fragrances, or irritation. My husband loves the simple scent, too.
