Rainbow Unicorn Mason Jar Nightlights

Thank you for sharing!

Can’t get enough unicorns in your life? Good! Because here is my favorite mason jar craft: Rainbow Unicorn Mason Jar Nightlights!

Rainbow Unicorn Mason Jar Nightlights

These DIY Nightlights are so cute. As soon as the fairy lights are turned on, that’s when the magic starts. Any kiddo is going to love them.

They are perfect for a kids’ room, the bathroom or wherever the kiddo will be wandering at night. Because when the lights are turned off and these unicorn nightlights are on, they can imagine that there are some beautiful unicorns looking after them.

You know that I’m a big fan of unicorns. Mason jars are also kind of my thing. I love it when I make DIY crafts with both of them together. It’s a symphony of crafting!

They can be a nice gift too, especially if the party is unicorn themed. You can make a Unicorn Favor Bag, place the Rainbow Unicorn Mason Jar Nightlights inside and have the perfect gift.

How to make Rainbow Unicorn Mason Jar Nightlights

Clean and dry the mason jars first, then paint each one, including the lid with white paint. Allow the paint to dry completely. Paint the Unicorn figurines white, too, and allow them to dry completely.

Cut out the iridescent ply side of three napkins, and discard the rest.

On the face of a jar, place a thin layer of craft sealant. Then position one iridescent ply side of the napkin face-up on the craft sealant, using a thin layer of craft sealant being placed on top of the napkin to help reduce wrinkles in the napkin, as the sealant is being spread.

I found the most success is placing the center of the rainbow first, then working out to the edges. Allow craft sealant to dry completely.

Hot glue a unicorn on the lid of each jar.

And finally, place a set of fairy lights inside each jar.
