Peppermint Candy Stand DIY

Tis’ the season is here! Ya’ll know everyone is doing cute crafts and working up some new appetizer. Or what about those holiday cupcakes or pretty Christmas cakes. Sometimes we forget what were plan to display them on. Well here at Nerdy Mamma we have just the right stand for all your holiday needs. Honestly, it takes under 20 minutes to make start to finish. This Peppermint Candy Stand DIY is so cute and will seriously make your family and friends go WOW!

You really don’t have to have anything fancy to create this masterpiece. Just a spring form pan which most people have one in there home. If you don’t you missing out on all kinds of things from ice cream cakes to cheese cakes and even cool crafts like this one.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

spring form pan
1 bag peppermint candies
parchment paper
candle stick holder or something to set it on top of

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line the spring form pan with parchment paper. Place candies around in a circle working from the outside in. Once you get to the center you may need to break one candy to fill in center gaps. Place in oven and bake 5 to 8 minutes. Once the candies are melted and touching then it is time to pull it. Any longer and it will burn. Don’t walk away while heating watch it closely. Remove and let cool for about 10 minutes. Once completely cool you can remove from pan and parchment paper and place on your candle stick holder or anything you plan to use as a holder.

We used a candle stick holder. In the pictures you can see it is glass. We later spray painted it with white paint. This is okay since the food won’t be touching the holder just the plate. It gave it that extra holiday look.
