Monster Moon Sand Invitation to Play

Thank you for sharing!

This Monster Moon Sand Invitation to Play is so easy and fun for the kids. I made this and the kids played with it for like a WEEK. LOL!

I love making different play ideas for my kiddos. Not only does it keep them occupied for what seems like forever while I do cook or do the laundry, but it’s also so beneficial for them to play with these different things and get a feel for constructing with their hands. I particularly like when my kids play with play dough, but moon sand is a very close runner-up. I mean, what else can you play with that kind of sticks together like mud, but then falls apart like sand? I personally played with this stuff for a little while and I had a blast just making hand prints, it felt so cool. So, enjoy this Monster Moon Sand Invitation to Play–with your kids, totally include your kids.

Putting Together the Monster Moon Sand Invitation to Play

  1. Place the Monster Moon Sand in the largest foil tin pan you can find (this stuff gets messy).
  2. Grab some blocks, some googley eyes, wooden beads, pipe cleaners, anything that might help a kiddo make a monster. I even through some old plastic easter eggs in the mix. So much fun.
  3. Strategically place said invitation to play on the counter near where you cook. Your toddler (and teen and husband, oddly enough) will find their way over to play with it for HOURS.

I don’t know why, but this is the most-played-with invitation to play that we’ve had. And when I finally put it out, my teen son was like “MOM!? Where’d that cool stuff go?!” This is my life. LOL!
