Brain Matter Soda Pop Halloween Drink {Allergy-Friendly}

Thank you for sharing!

The kids at my son's halloween party are going to love this brain matter soda pop. The best part egg-free and dairy-free, so I don't have to worry about any allergy kids getting any!

My son asked for a special drink for his Halloween party at school. I racked my brain to come up with had already thought I might bring this awesome Brain Matter Soda Pop Halloween Drink. I made it the day I made the lime sherbet last week. Not only was it a truly tasty drink, it was so frothy, bubbly and wonderfully crazy, I really thought the kids would love it. I’m going to surprise my son with this. Creepy green foaming brains coming up out of a skull…too cool to not do! And the best part? It’s allergy-friendly, meaning no eggs and no dairy. So I don’t have to worry about any off the kids in his class having to miss-out on this awesome Halloween drink

Ingredients for Brain Matter Soda Pop

Lime Sherbet

  • 4 cans coconut milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tspn lime extract or lime juice–I just used lime juice because that’s what I had and it was AWESOME
  • 4 drops green gel food coloring

Soda Pop

  • 1/2 can ginger ale per person served

Fun skull cups can be found at the dollar store. Making these individually in the cups will make the “brain matter” foam even higher. Nice.

How to Make Brain Matter Soda Pop

  1. First, make the sherbet. You’ll want to start by opening your coconut milk cans and scooping the thick cream part into a bowl, trying to get as little of the coconut water as possible. Discard coconut water or just set aside for chugging later, whatever.
  2. Add the other sherbet ingredients.
  3. Mix on high 2-3 minutes with a hand mixer until it becomes stiff and fluffy.
  4. Place in the freezer for approximately 2 hours.
  5. Scoop out and place in the cups.
  6. Pour the ginger ale over the sherbet and watch it foam away!
