Baked Apples

When the holidays arrive it seems we get more and more stress out trying to find ways to do everything on our long lists that are on top of our daily tasks. One of the trick I like to do ya’ll is to make some items ahead in advance before parties, thanksgiving, and holiday events.

Baked Apples

Like these baked apples I will make them ahead. Say I have dinner guests over I will make these then just pop them in the oven as dessert while they are there. I don’t have to stop to cook or bake. Just 5 minutes to get them into the oven. It’s really awesome to share these with some vanilla ice cream. Oh and did I mention the smell. They make your entire house smell like the holidays.

Baked Apples

Your guests will be drooling by the time it reaches the table. Seriously! Like all you need is these baked apples served along side some roasted chicken with savory herb stuffing. Ya’ll they will think your some master chef with this creation but it honestly takes less than 10 minutes to prep this recipe. You can see from the video below!

Baked Apples

Did I mention you only have to bake them for 30 minutes then you have this tender, delicious baked apple. Ya’ll I seriously cannot get over the smell through the house. I had everyone asking for extras. With apples in season here in Texas we have these beautiful granny apples at the store. You can totally do these with any kinds of apple even a honey crisp. It’s all up to you.
